Town centre around a sloping market square, with principal shopping streets as offshoots. Pavement access ramped. Very wide range of traditional market town shops. Market Day Saturday. Several cafes, restaurants and pubs. Toilets for disabled visitors in Market Place and Wentworth Street.
Main street is the Market Hill, a fair slope. Good range of shops, many at lower end of hill. Ramped footpath access. Good range of cafes, restaurants and pubs. Toilets for disabled visitors in main car-parks on The Ropery and Eastgate. Market Day Monday.
A popular stopping off place with central, level car-park. Cafes and pubs. Pretty village, with level, riverside walk past the well-known thatched cottage. Craft and souvenir shops. Disabled toilet available in the lakeside car park off Maltongate.
A quiet village, set around a level green. No shops. Hotel for meals. Easy walk around, pretty cottages and riverside.
