The Malton Cookery School will open for three ten day sessions staring in May with a great selection of course suited to the seasons. Our team at the Talbot Hotel in Malton will be working alongside the Malton Cookery School team and all our local suppliers to bring the best of Yorkshire to your chopping board. Why not make a fun day a great stay with other activities such as a visit to the Brass Castle Brewery in the heart of Malton a short trip out to Castle Howard a great dinner at the Talbot and all wrapped up in an overnight stay and of course great Yorkshire Breakfast the next morning? May will see our first 10 days of courses coinciding with the famed Food Lovers Festival on the 24th and 25th when a host of celebrity chefs gastronomic delights and over 160 food producers will be on show to demonstrate just why Malton claims the title of Yorkshire's Food Capital. August 29th starts the second course of events at the Malton Cookery School with seasonal dishes suited to the start of autumn. November 28th will be the final set of courses for 2014 and will focus on preparing for Christmas and winter delights. With a mix of Georgian and Victorian buildings and a new alfresco eating area Malton is the perfect place to spend a few days shopping eating walking cooking and browsing for some wonderful Yorkshire produce.
