The Royal Oak
The Royal Oak Inn is situated in the heart of the rural Ryedale village of Gillamoor on the edge of the North York Moors. The Inn currently has 8 letting bedrooms all of which are en-suite with shower/bath, WC and washbasin. All rooms are centrally heated and each bedroom has tea/coffee making facilities, freeview, flat screen televisions and wireless broadband connection. Radio alarm clocks and hairdryers provided. Full English breakfast included in the price of the room. Packed lunches available on request. Residents' car park to the rear of the Inn. Arrival from 16.00. The Royal Oak is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. A la Carte menu and daily specials board. Vegetarian and children's menus available on request. The Inn is ideally situated for walking and there is an 18 hole golf course nearby at Kirkbymoorside. Local attractions include Farndale (Spring Daffodil Walk), Hutton-Le-Hole Museum of Rural Life, Castle Howard Stately Home, North York Moors Railway at Pickering, Helmsley with its individual shops and Castle and many attractive coastal resorts are just a short drive away.
